service, came to Alaska in 1963 just in time for the Great Alaska Earthquake.
Stella, a retired nurse, arrived in Alaska in 1956.
"We are both trained as caretakers. We enjoy our guests and are avid
gardeners."

Rates
May 1 through Oct. 1: $125.00 plus 12% tax
October 2 through April 30: $65.00 plus 12% tax
We require a deposit of one night's rate. Visa, MasterCard and personal travelers' checks accepted.
We welcome children who are 17 years of age or over.
Sorry, no guest pets.

" In Anchorage, my husband and I recommend the Bed and Breakfast
on the Park. It is located within walking distance of downtown Anchorage,
which is full of shops and activity. During the Fur Rendezvous Festival
in February, dog sled rides are available in the park right across the street.
Other Fur Rendezvous activities include an Alaskan blanket toss, ice sculpture
contests, the World Championship Dog Sled Race, Alaskan art exhibitions,
snowshoe softball, and outhouse racing. The B & B is the oldest
church building in Anchorage and has been converted to five bedrooms, each
with a full private bath. It is decorated with Alaskan art.
This B & B is warm, cozy, and decorated with white lights in
the winter; bright and cheery in the summer with flowers everywhere one
looks. The hostesses, Helen and Stella, are true Alaskans; very friendly,
warm, and very helpful with activity suggestions."
